We have partner companies delivering this work across London. We are not a contractor ourselves — our partners carry out the work, and this page explains exactly what that means for you.

What we do

When you call, we take a short description of the problem and your postal code, and put you through to the partner that covers your area. Putting you in touch is the whole of our role.

We work throughout London. The guidance on this site is written per neighbourhood rather than once for the whole city, because where the ductwork is and how hard the system runs genuinely differ across it.

How we are paid

You do not pay us anything at any point, and there is no charge or obligation attached to calling.

That is worth stating plainly rather than burying, because it is what a reasonable person would want to know. It also sets the limit of what we can promise: the price, the schedule, the work and any guarantee are agreed between you and the company that attends. We are not party to that, so we do not make commitments on their behalf.

What we will not do

We do not sell a new door where a spring, a cable or an opener is the actual fault. Those are the majority of calls and they are the cheap end of this trade, which is worth knowing before anybody quotes for a replacement.

We do not publish prices. A range quoted on a web page is not a figure the attending company has agreed to, and quoting one invites you to hold them to something they never said.

We do not publish reviews or star ratings. We have no verified reviews of our own, and inventing them — or borrowing somebody else's — would be dishonest. If that changes, real reviews will appear here and nowhere else.
