If you need work done

Call the number at the top of this page. Tell us what you have noticed, where, and roughly how long it has been going on, and give us your postal code. We will put you through to the partner covering your area.

Same day for a door stuck open, a car shut in, or a door off its track. Springs and cables are usually same or next day because the parts are stocked. A new door is a week or two out because it has to be ordered to the opening.

Everything else

Email booking@getlondongaragedoor.com. That includes corrections to anything on this site, data protection requests, and questions about how we work with our partners.

We are not the contractor, so we cannot answer questions about a specific job already booked — the partner attending is the right contact for that.

What we are, and what we are not

London Garage Door is not a contractor. We do not employ technicians, hold trade licences, carry out work, or supervise our partner companies.

You pay us nothing at any point.

What we do not warrant

We take reasonable care to work only with licensed and insured operators, but we do not warrant the workmanship, conduct, timeliness or pricing of any partner. Any contract for work is between you and that company.

If something goes wrong with work carried out, the company that did it is the first point of contact, and the London contractors' licensing board is the route for a formal complaint. We would also want to know, at booking@getlondongaragedoor.com.

Information on this site

The guidance here is general information, not an inspection of your property and not professional advice. Identification from a description or a photograph is unreliable; somebody looking at the system is what establishes what you actually have.

Nothing here is an instruction to work on a garage door spring. A torsion spring holds enough stored energy to cause a serious injury and it is the one part of this trade that genuinely should not be touched without the right tools.
